Our Lodges are slightly different to static vans on site that have a strict 15 year lifespan. Lodges have a lifespan of 25 years, however, provided that you maintain the upkeep of the lodge (in line with manufacturing guidelines and the expectations of New Barns Caravan Park, R Barber & Son) then your lodge can last for a period of time often up to 25 years and beyond. R Barber & Son reserves the right to carry out a 5-yearly inspection of your lodge to ensure standards are maintained.

The living space offers views into the garden and is fully furnished with sofa, TV, dining table and chairs. The bedrooms comprise of one double room and one single. The main bedroom has a double bed with access to the family shower room which has a shower enclosure, WC and wash basin. There is also a separate WC and basin for additional guests. The plot encompasses a decking area to the entrance of the lodge, with outside table and seating for 4, surrounded by a large grassed lawn and storage shed to the side with lawnmower. The Lodge is double glazed with underfloor heating and has a connection point in the lounge to the Park's Terrestrial and Satellite TV and Hi-Speed Internet System.

  • Rent and Park Charges for 2023 caravans is £3645.40. (inclusive of VAT)
  • Rent and Park Charges for 2023 lodges is £4400.12. (inclusive of VAT)
  • Season runs from 10th of February to the 10th of December 2023.
  • Rent cover water, rates and use of Wi-Fi; hi-Speed Wi-Fi is available across the park.
  • Gas bottles to be bought through the cafe, New Barns will deliver them to your plot and connect them into place. (47kg costs £80 including VAT)
  • Each plot has its own electricity meter which is read 2-3 times each season and billed by invoice. (Current unit price is 34p including VAT)
  • All caravans and lodges must be insured.
  • For park wide safety you must have an annual service for your gas appliances - to be arranges through the park office.
  • NB: Caravans to be replaced after 15 full seasons
